" Ms Elle is celebrating 11 years of voluntarily promoting and assisting the growth & development of the sport in Costa Rica & Central America! "
Since January of 20-11 Ms Elle recognized the need to promote the sport in English for Costa Rica.
Ms Elle started her promoting journey in the sport by creating and submitting weekly English media press releases
to several of the Costa Rica news sites/newspapers and X-pat organizations to promote all scheduled football activities.
As well she routinely assisted local and international editors and journalists with American Football in Costa Rica and Central America information for articles and responded to countless inquiries.
Ms Elle initiated an online newsletter published every two months in 20-11 titled The Blitz Report highlighting football activities including informative links. Of course a decade later the contact info, logos, Federation/teams, links and pretty well everything on the newsletter is now obsolete with the evolution of the sport but for some of the OG coaches/players it may be a fun blast from the past to view a sample publication. Bring back memories.

Ms Elle established the American Football in Costa Rica Facebook profile in 20-11 along with a few other social media profiles and continued to publish content for the sport in Costa Rica and Central America in English.
In 20-12 Ms Elle established the American Football In Costa Rica website.
With maintaining weekly changing homepage updates and covering all American Football activities in the country it became a leading source of information. Initially intended to attract local X-pat fans, international exposure for the region and to entice new opportunities for the sport. Over the years many new opportunities were realized such as obtaining numerous foreign & local players/coaches (Ms Elle directly placed over 100 players on teams over the years and that is not counting the ones that had contacted leagues/teams directly from logos she linked to their contact info on the website) to securing free football clinics led by semi & pro players not only for Costa Rica but for the region to donated equipment to sparking sponsors interest to networking, connecting & welcoming international teams/bowls.
Costa Rica has become a desired 'American Football Destination'.
Over the next few years she started including information from the Central American region as she had developed football relations with all the American Football Federation/League presidents and was in regular communication with them and that was when she decided it was time to create a new website in 20-15 for Central America. Back in the day before the popularity and accessibility of social media and everyone acquiring cell phones, collecting information for the development of the American Football In Central America website was painstaking and time consuming. Since there had never been a centralized source of information to access content and most communications were done by telephone and email. It was a challenging feat to 'unite' the entire Central American region of Federations/Leagues/Teams together as one information hub. It took about a year to acquire and complete enough content on the website to launch it. Especially when Federated leagues would not communicate or share information with private leagues and vice-versa and the 'constant' changing of names, logos and contact information until the growing pains days of the sport were behind. Although with each new year still brings an abundance of changes.
During 20-13 her efforts caught the attention of the founder of AFI and she began submitting basic information for him to write-up a few American Football articles on his news site (unfortunately those early articles no longer exist). She was ecstatic that he would be interested in 'little' Costa Rica! After a lapse of time the founder opened up the news site to AFI correspondent writers from different regions. From then on Ms Elle has written approximately 4 articles per year for AFI gaining Costa Rica and Central America additional international exposure.

Ms Elle designed and high-end printed thousands of business cards specifically for her different American Football websites to distribute wherever she went from sports bars, to tourist spots to USA Embassy to Casa Presidencial, etc... to gain more exposure for the sport. Even when she traveled to Central American countries she would often times distribute cards to the other American Football leagues/teams/players so they could become familiar with the sport in the region.
As well Ms Elle has been archiving the 'History of the Sport' for the region and regardless of the numerous bullying power tripping controlling tactics of so many leaders in the sport over the past decade constantly trying to pitch her against this one or that one by using her 'nuetral status' as a titter-totter strategy (Per example; She is promoting that league more than our league so she must favor that league and not our league and then running off to spread lies to players saying that she doesn't support them or that she doesn't like them, etc.. because bullying power tripping controlling leaders seem to think that by defaming her somehow benefits their status (VOLUNTEER efforts whereby NO ONE has ever paid her or re-embursed her for the tens and tens and tens of thousands of dollars (approx. $10,000 per year) of football related expenses she has incurred over the decade)... or she referred a player to that team and not our team because she favors that team, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla... phewww did anyone maybe just consider she was busy or traveling or shares around featured leagues/teams/bowls at different times of the year... the bullying never seems to seize and she has always promoted ALL leagues (Federation, Association, Private) in Central America with the exception of boycotting (but that is for another time to explain) the AFFP Federation in Panama, 2018 but that was after 6 consecutive years of promoting it. She also has acted as a year-round information source for journalists/authors, history buffs, and other frequent inquiries of Central American Federations.
Examples to be posted here soon.
Ms Elle is proud to provide since 20-11 the only 'consistent online source' for communications and information covering
all leagues/teams especially when many of their websites & social media profiles changed names or became inactive or were deleted altogether over the years.
Online initiatives have not been her only contributions to the sport as she was also involved with other volunteers in establishing the foundation and acceptance for Women's American Football in Costa Rica during its infancy years. She also was team manager of the Goddesses CR, the first women's team in San Jose.
Ms Elle is also an advocate for women's equality, rights and safeguarding in the sport, not only in Costa Rica but for the region.
That was just a 'splash' of info!
