When Coleman was asked what were the strengths of the team going into the game?
He responded, “We have veteran players (Reinhard Weiss, Dean Mooke, Arturo Ogiste, Andrew Follins, Charlie Avila) with the experience to play at a championship level. Mooke and Weiss exceeded their performance expectation and led the team to the championship. We started to practice October 1st, 2013, a long time to prepare for the championship. We were relaxed and confident in our game strategy with offense and defense. We implemented a systematic strategic plan over the course of preparing for the playoffs. We had a strong defense but our strength was the offensive line. The weather was somewhat rainy during the game and our passing game was not really clicking so we relied on a power running game.”
